Package: git-buildpackage
Version: 0.5.31
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

I would like to see a scheme to use more than one debian branch with a
corresponding upstream, for example:

- dist/debian/sid is the packaging of upstream/svn/trunk
- dist/debian/wheezy is the packaging of upstream/realease/3.4
- dist/ubuntu/lucid is the packaging of upstream/realease/2.8

For now I use --git-upstream-tree=branch with --git-debian-branch and
--git-upstream-branch on the command line.

I don't see if using tags could solve my problem.

Regards.
