Package: xsane Version: 0.97-4 Severity: minor
When one switches from color to grey modes, the resolution resets to 300dpi. Eg: mode=save set to "color" set resolution 240 set to "grey" (resolution is now 300) set resolution 240 (resolution is now 240) set to "color" (resolution is now 300) set resolution 240 (resolution is now 240) set to "grey" (resolution is now 300) Indeed, one can continue: set resolution 240 (resolution is now 240) set to "grey" (resolution is now 300) Ideally, it would have a single common resolution for grey and color (that's my preference), or it would separately remember the resolution of both. The current situation, where it constantly forgets really isn't quite right. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages xsane depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.1-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgimp2.0 2.2.8-9 Libraries necessary to Run the GIM ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.0-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.8-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libieee1284-3 0.2.10-1 cross-platform library for paralle ii libjpeg62 6b-10 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii libsane 1.0.15-10 API library for scanners ii libtiff4 3.7.3-1 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.10a-9.sarge.1 userspace USB programming library ii xsane-common 0.97-4 GTK+-based X11 frontend for SANE ( ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime Versions of packages xsane recommends: ii lynx [www-browser] 2.8.5-2 Text-mode WWW Browser ii mozilla-browser [www-browser] 2:1.7.8-1 The Mozilla Internet application s ii xemacs21-mule [www-browser] 21.4.17-2 highly customizable text editor -- -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
