Additionaly, I found another error in the log file : (gnome-settings-daemon:3418): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed [1319200534,000,xklavier.c:xkl_engine_start_listen/] The backend does not require manual layout management - but it is provided by the application Thank you.
