While this is true, there's a bunch of stuff we need to rewrite in the
Debian installer before it's safe to upgrade parted.  I've started work
on a tool to let us wrap progress bars around non-parted-based
filesystem tools - which, frankly, we've needed for ages anyway, but it
becomes critical with parted 3.0 - but I haven't got very far yet.
