Ben Armstrong, Andrew Shadura!
Thanks for reply!
Yes, it's not networking disconnect.
If i start download or seeding of any torrent, after time external
USB-drive disappears
(for any of the 2 disks — WD Caviar Green 2Tb (WD20EARS) in external
enclosure Silver River II (ST0016)
and Seagate FreeAgent XTreme 1Tb).
In /var/log/syslog there lines:
Oct 19 14:32:03 m1 kernel: [50990.056419] usb 1-3: USB disconnect, address
6
Oct 19 14:32:03 m1 kernel: [50990.056881] sd 3:0:0:0: Device offlined -
not ready after error recovery

And in Debian Lenny, Fedora 14 and Windows these disks work with
BitTorrent clients correctly.
Could hard drive settings depends from operating system?
If yes, what difference between Squeeze and Lenny settings?
Best regards,
Entada.
