a) I'm not involved in GNOME packaging at all
b) I'm not hiding behind anything, I just explained to you why poppler 
0.18 is not fit for unstable, at the moment. maybe experimental will 
come, but I've not gotten around it, yet.

I said that the current versions of Evince and Okular in Debian and 
their very latest versions are both fine to use and work with poppler 
0.16.
