OK, could you please try running the following commands and send me the output:

sh -x /usr/bin/xdg-screensaver suspend $(xwininfo -root|grep "Window id:"| cut 
-d' ' -f4)

sh -x /usr/bin/xdg-screensaver resume $(xwininfo -root|grep "Window id:"| cut 
-d' ' -f4)

You might want to kill any xdg-screensaver processes afterwards if
they continue running after 50 seconds.
