Package: subversion Version: 1.6.17dfsg-2 Severity: important Hi,
Some svn commands (log, update, commit, probably more) immediately fail since I upgraded today. They all give me this error : svn: generic failure I searched the web for an explanation and came across archives from a OpenBSD mailing list. That error message seems to come from Cyrus SASL, so I tried to downgrade libsasl2-2. Downgrading to Wheezy's 2.1.24~rc1.dfsg1+cvs2011-05-23-4 version didn't help, but after downgrading to Squeeze's 2.1.23.dfsg1-7 svn worked again. What's weird is that I can't find a change related to SVN or libsasl in my recent dpkg.log (except for the removal of libsvn-perl, but after reinstalling it nothing changed). Also note that my repo has ASL disabled.
