Which documentation actually? There is no mentioning of it in debian/README.source how to get the extracted source to work with, and the upstream INSTALL file doesn't hint in that direction neither? Thing is, it's kinda obscure, and documentation doesn't seem to be included - though I'd like to be proven wrong, but I would have expected you to mention it directly if it's in the package, so I guess it isn't.
