Package: slapd This bug applies to all versions of slapd using the slapd-config (cn=config) configuration method.
The live slapd-config LDIF-type database currently resides under /etc/ldap/slapd.d. Can we change it to something like /var/lib/slapd? Although it *does* consist of configuration material it is also a live database that people always think they can hand-edit due to it being under /etc. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
