Hello guys, I have found your discussion thread about openvas-libraries vs gnutls version > 2.12 in Debian. http://lists.wald.intevation.org/pipermail/openvas-distro-deb/2011-April/000828.html
Please have you come to any solution? I am struggling with the same for the Fedora 16 package (it will ship with gnutls version >=2.12 ). I have created bug report in openvas-libraries http://wald.intevation.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2526&group_id=29&atid=220 Attached is a patch which makes it compile with gnutls 2.12 + openvas-libraries 4.0.5 http://wald.intevation.org/tracker/download.php/29/220/2526/536/openvas-libraries-gnutls.patch There should be probably some work done on conditional compiling for different versions of gnutls. I tried to set priorities according the former requirements and setting the priorities seems to be fine during debugging. Problem is that after that during gnutls_handshake the gnutls library throws SIGSEGV fault. I still have not found whether it is issue with the way I am setting the priorities or whether it is really some issue with gnutls library itself. Would you be able to have a look as well?
