Hello,
I have similar problem with "Nimbus Sans L" font, which is always displayed condensed only (and also worked before fine). Trying to change it in the Format->Character->Font, it only offers the condensed variants. But other programs in my system see the regular format of that font.
(PS: the LMRoman10 Bold displays fine in my installation, so it looks like a "random" failure in loading the fonts).
