Can you reproduce this problem with a free driver, e.g. nouveau? The backtrace does not mention nvidia at all but evdev_drv.so, so this may be unrelated to nvidia. Also the combination of Xserver 1.11.1 with nvidia drivers currently does not work well (massive slowdowns have been reported).
