Package: liboss4-salsa-dev Version: 4.2-build2004-1 Severity: important For whatever reason, liboss4-salsa-dev Provides: libasound2-dev _and_ libasound-dev, instead of just the former. This makes some packages still build-depending on libasound-dev unintentionally build against OSS4 instead of libasound2.
I plan to stop providing libasound-dev in libasound2-dev, as libasound-dev has been unavailable in Debian for over 8 years, and will file bugs for every package declaring B-Ds on that so they switch to just libasound2-dev, as it should be. Before I can do that, though, you need to stop providing libasound-dev too, or I won't fix anything that isn't broken right now.
