autocutsel creates an X11 window, but does not give this window a name, nor
does it set the _NET_WM_PID property.
I had started by accident two autocutsel instances, which created an endless
loop and I was debugging the hell out of X11 to see, which window was accessing
the Clipboard all the time. Only by killing processes and observing xwininfo
-root -tree I finally found out, that the window id belonged to the other
autocutsel process.
Thank you for submitting this bug report.
Unfortunately, I could not reproduce the situation you are describing.
Running two autocutsel processes did not show any difference to running
just one. I suspect that I am not reproducing the situation you have or
else I must be looking at the wrong thing. There was no obvious endless
loop that I could find.
