Thank you for the bug report.

Can you check what other scripts is pm-utils running? pm-utils is
another power management tool which could be fiddling with those values.
In last couple versions of pm-utils, they've duplicated many of the
tasks lmt did.

Apart from that, can you set VERBOSE_OUTPUT=1 and LOG_TO_SYSLOG=1 and
then trigger your bug ? Once triggered, you'll need to share your syslog
file.
