Package: manpages-dev
Version: 3.27-1
Severity: normal

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Serial_Programming/termios#Non-Canonical_Mode says:

"In this mode input is not assembled into lines and input processing does not
occur."

This is important information and not addressed in 'man termios'. I want
to transmit binary data and CR/LF, XON/XOFF, etc. mangling must not
occur.

thanks, Bernhard
