Panning no longer works. Sorry if that wasn't clear. To be more precise, I suspect that there is some panning - by a few pixels: it is hard to tell. So before I could pan around the 1024x1024 virtual screen using a synaptics trackpad. With the new packages, no panning (modulo possibly a couple of pixels) occurs. The initial state as reported by xrandr is: Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1024 x 600, maximum 4096 x 4096 LVDS1 connected 1024x600+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 195mm x 113mm 1024x600 60.0*+ 800x600 60.3 56.2 640x480 59.9 VGA1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) I notice "current 1024 x 600" above. As noted in the first report, "current" changes to 1024 x 1024 despite --mode 1024x600. I am not sure whether that is significant. ael -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
