Package: coinor-libipopt-dev
Version: 3.9.2-1
Severity: normal

The pkg-config file for ipopt ( /usr/lib/pkgconfig/ipopt.pc ) is listing as a
linking requirement the coinhsl.pc. HSL is the Harwell Subroutine Library which
has a proprietary license and is a third-party add-on. They are not included in
the Debian packages, and make using pkg-config break during linking.

The command:
        pkg-config --libs ipopt
gives:
        -L/usr/lib/coin -L/usr/lib/coin/ThirdParty -L/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-
gnu/4.4.5 -L/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.5/../../../../lib -L/lib/../lib
-L/usr/lib/../lib -L/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.4.5/../../.. -lipopt -ldmumps
-ldl -lcoinhsl -llapack -lblas -lgfortranbegin -lgfortran -lm -lgcc_s

and there is no libcoinhsl.so nowhere.
