Package: update-manager Severity: normal
Second time this year, update-manager going nuts again. You guessed it: it's UbuntuWare ;) Behavior appeared today with an outstanding suggested update (notification going red). Manager does use 100% cpu and is unresponsive. Needs to be killed via a root shell. IMHO: please get rid of this piece of python-crap with Wheezy release. It's obviously not even seperating the gui from the worker thread. I don't even want to look deeper in its sources. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
