So interestingly the latest unstable sawfish fixes the problem for me for my left alt key, but not the right one. I needed to reset the key binding for "Cycle windows" using "grab key" (it picked up M-TAB, think it used to be W-TAB or something else beforehand). But the cycle-window display still sticks with my right alt key. If I xmodmap code 113 (right alt) to be Alt_L/Meta_L instead of Alt_R/Meta_R the problem goes away, but that's a workaround, not a solution. This arises no matter which Alt key I use to grab the key in the sawfish configurator, and doesn't seem to be affected by the setting of "Modifier key(s) used for default shortcuts" either. Only workaround seems to be making right alt pretend to be left alt.
I tried looking at the patch which fixes the left alt problem, but that *seems* to be simply compiling with fewer optimisations (-fnostrict-aliasing switch to compiler), which doesn't leave me with any clue as to why right alt should behave differently to left... Any ideas? (I'm running a fully up-to-date unstable Debian btw) Conrad -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
