as documented in bug 614129 there is an incompatability between gbirthday from stable and evolution 2.32 and above. As the maintainer for gbirthday in Debian I would kindly ask you to add Breaks: gbirthday (<< 0.4.1-2) to the evolution binary package. Thank you for your consideration.
