Uh. I'm a bit worried about that; it strongly suggests a bug in the
pipeline library, and without investigation I don't know what its
consequences might be. I think I'm going to reopen this until I've at
least looked over the code.

Note that the error might disappear depending on what man pages mandb
needs to cache. You might find that /etc/cron.weekly/man-db (which
builds the database from scratch) still exhibits the problem.
