Hi Steve As such, you are right. But making it arch:any gives the advantage that we get the possibility to get the test suite run on all architectures, which is the reason why we changed it from arch:all to arch:any in the first place.
The only 'expense' is a slightly extra amount of space used on the build daemons. I'm tending to mark this bug wontfix for this reason. /Sune On Wednesday 21 September 2011 19:45:30 Steve Wolter wrote: > Package: libeigen2-dev > Version: 2.0.16-2 > Severity: normal > > The libeigen2-dev package contains no architecture-specific files, so it > might as well be built with > Architecture: all > instead of > Architecture: any > > -- System Information: > Debian Release: wheezy/sid > APT prefers testing > APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'unstable'), > (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) > > Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-rt-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) > Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: > LC_ALL set to en_US.utf8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash > > libeigen2-dev depends on no packages. > > libeigen2-dev recommends no packages. > > Versions of packages libeigen2-dev suggests: > pn libeigen2-doc <none> > > -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
