Package: usb-modeswitch Version: 1.1.9-2 Followup-For: Bug #629371
Dear Maintainer, My modem: e173-u2 is also not switched, when plugged in during the powerup. It is switched however if I plug it in into the running system. I was able to cure this situation by manual extraction of the proper configuration file: 12d1:1446 from configPack.tar.gz into /etc/usb_modeswitch.d With this file modem is serviced correctly. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.0.1 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages usb-modeswitch depends on: ii dpkg 1.16.0.3 ii libc6 2.13-18 ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-19 ii tcl 8.5.0-2 ii tcl8.4 [tclsh] 8.4.19-4 ii tcl8.5 [tclsh] 8.5.10-1 ii usb-modeswitch-data 20110805-1 usb-modeswitch recommends no packages.
