The GnuCash menu entry without the Name/GenericName separation is quite
long and just looks alien in the KDE kickoff menu where almost all
applications follow the Desktop Entry Specification. The GenericName is
shown per default (because this is what a user needs to know first: what
is this application?) and the Name is only shown when hovering the mouse
over the entry or when two entries share the same GenericName (because
it is not *that* important information that the media player is named
"VLC").

If GnuCash follows the Desktop Entry Specification it simply improves
the usability and consistency of the Linux desktop.

Best regards

Ronny
