Package: qgit Version: 2.3-2 Severity: normal On my Debian testing box with gnome + xmonad, the "Places" menu has spawned qgit, since I installed it. I can't say that I have any clue how Gnome's MimeType lookups are supposed to work, but this appears to be the culprit:
| $ grep MimeType /usr/share/applications/qgit.desktop | MimeType=inode/directory; Removing it made me a whole lot happier (once every other month when I use a graphical file manager) :) SR -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_ZA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_ZA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages qgit depends on: ii git 1:1.7.5.4-1 ii libc6 2.13-18 ii libgcc1 1:4.6.1-4 ii libqtcore4 4:4.7.3-5 ii libqtgui4 4:4.7.3-5 ii libstdc++6 4.6.1-4 ii libx11-6 2:1.4.4-1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.0-3 Versions of packages qgit recommends: ii stgit 0.15-1 Versions of packages qgit suggests: pn source-highlight <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
