Package: unscd Severity: normal I agree with the OP. The message looks like an error message. It made me search all over my system for problems.
unscd should not print these error like status messages during normal operation. It is very confusing to the user. A good solution would be to only print this when a debug option or verbose option has been used. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (100, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nl_NL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages unscd depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib unscd recommends no packages. unscd suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
