The .so symlink in firebird2.1-dev $ ls -la libfbclient.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Apr 22 18:01 libfbclient.so -> libfbclient.so.2 points to nothing since libfbclient.so.2 has been moved into multiarch-dir.
