Due to this bug, msn-pecan is currently totally unusable in Debian stable. A backport of 0.1.2-1 works nicely in the same system. Uploading to backports would be welcome, but I think this bug deserves being fixed in stable proper. FWIW, the upstream commit (7f11a66971f7c8df8da9f41bb95353cf77ad806e) that's supposed to fix the bug is not trivially applicable to 0.1.1-1 as the changed files don't exist in that version.
