Package: hplip-cups Version: 3.11.7-1 Severity: important My server has hplip-cups installed. Today, when I was trying to upgrade some packages, the update stopped and printed "Password for root on localhost?" The prompt did not respond to Ctrl-C or Ctrl-\, but pressing Enter made it continue. There's really no reason to ask for the root password since by definition an upgrade with apt is done as root. Also, my system does have a root password, but some are sudo-only.
