Well, a simple hello world does work on s390x and the packages were built successfully AFAICS. Sadly there's no porterbox yet because DSA doesn't want a debian-ports chroot on zelenka. There will be one as soon as s390x is officially in the archive which we want to apply for soon. As we cannot carry patches into the initial set it would be helpful if this change could be applied to the unstable package. Currently there should be no negative impact and we can still remove it if you find it to be buggy.
