Package: sensord
Version: 1:2.9.1-7
Severity: normal
Sensors correctly present the following information:
[..]
eeprom-i2c-1-51
Adapter: SMBus Via Pro adapter at 5000
Memory type: SDR SDRAM DIMM
Memory size (MB): 256
eeprom-i2c-1-50
Adapter: SMBus Via Pro adapter at 5000
Memory type: SDR SDRAM DIMM
Memory size (MB): 128
However, sensord logs the following:
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Chip: eeprom-i2c-1-51
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Adapter: SMBus Via Pro adapter at
5000
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Algorithm: Unavailable from sysfs
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Memory type: SDRAM DIMM SPD
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Memory size (MB): Invalid 12 10 2 4
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Chip: eeprom-i2c-1-50
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Adapter: SMBus Via Pro adapter at
5000
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Algorithm: Unavailable from sysfs
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Memory type: SDRAM DIMM SPD
Sep 14 15:17:53 localhost sensord: Memory size (MB): Invalid 12 9 2 4
Unfortunately, I am unable to debug that on my computer, as I can't see
the memory chips. I have made a test version, but I'll need some test
from you. Could you please try the package from:
http://temp.aurel32.net/lm-sensors
Actually you only need to install sensord, but I have built the whole
source package, hence the other .debs.
Bye,
Aurelien
