Thank you very much for this!  I've been on vacation (in fact, am still on
vacation) and have had very little free time to look at this problem.
I'll try to get this patch tested and applied soon.

This is absolutely fantastic news.  As soon as I get some more free time,
I'll try the new packages and look at what the transition will entail.
Getting back to one set of SSH packages will make life far easier for
everyone.
