Thanks for reporting this issue. The developer can't be sure
if it's a Virtaal or a glade bug affecting non-utf8 locales (so
far, seems a glade one).

We've tried pl_PL with iso-8859-2 and utf8, and the former
shows your issue. A temporary workaround could be to install
pl_PL.UTF8 with "sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales" and run
Virtaal with "LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8" (or change to UTF-8).

BTW, my "locale" output shows pl_PL.UTF-8, and not just pl_PL as is your
case.

Can you confirm non-utf8 is the problem? Feel free to drop by
