Could you give me the user/group of the process mldonkey (ps aux | grep
mlnet) ?

I don't find anything strange.

What was the network used to download those file ?

Can you try using the GUI to commit your file also (not the web interface) ?

If you still cannot do anything, you try to reenable something which was
called "auto commit" (i don't remember the precise option). At least it
will try to auto commit your file somewhere...

There is only this file, which seems strange :
