I've just upgraded to kernel 3.0.0-1-amd64 and nvidia bits 280.13, and was able to successfully hibernate and resume once. Previously, this bug manifested on every attempt, so things are definitely improved. I'll keep an eye out for this over the next few days, and see if it recurs at all.
