Please be insight that we can't install this option as default. There are so many flavours of snd-hada-intel out side that collisions will always be possible. Please do as root: echo "options snd-hda-intel position_fix=2" > /etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.conf as alsa-base.conf will be overwritten on each update. According to your fix you can read /usr/share/doc/alsa-base/README.Debian.gz. So I close this bug herewith.
