Package: asciidoc Version: 8.6.5-1 Severity: normal
Trying to convert an asciidoc document using the slidy backend. The document is written in french and contains lots of accents. The produced XHTML file is correctly written in UTF-8. Konqueror and w3m are displaying the file correctly. Iceweasel is displaying wrong wharacters like: é In the produced XHTML, we excpect such a line in the header but it is not present: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/xhtml+xml; charset=UTF-8" /> If i add this line to the XHTML file, the display is correct again. The generation of this line should be added in the [header] section of /etc/asciidoc/slidy.conf, like it is present in /etc/asciidoc/xhtml11.conf : <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="{quirks=application/xhtml+xml}{quirks?text/html}; charset={encoding}" /> -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages asciidoc depends on: ii python 2.6.6-14 interactive high-level object-orie Versions of packages asciidoc recommends: ii dblatex 0.3.1-2 Produces DVI, PostScript, PDF docu ii docbook-utils 0.6.14-1.1 Convert Docbook files to other for ii libxml2-utils 2.7.8.dfsg-3 XML utilities ii xmlto 0.0.23-2 XML-to-any converter Versions of packages asciidoc suggests: pn source-highlight <none> (no description available) ii vim-addon-manager 0.4.3 manager of addons for the Vim edit -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
