Package: gimp Severity: normal Installing gimp also installs webkit with all its dependencies.
Afaik, webkit is only used for the help-browser plugin. While the help-files themselves are separate packages, the help-browser (with the huge webkit dependency) is part of the base package. Iirc, gimp even has some fall- back to use the default web-browser. Please, put the help-browser into a separate package so that I don't have to install ~60MB of useless code. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.0.1+ (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
