Package: libpoppler13 Version: 0.16.7-2 Severity: normal I have a PDF including bookmarks automatically generated from DocBook part and article titles. One part has an empty title, and although a bookmark is created for it, neither evince nor okular display that part or any of its subparts in the bookmark listing. Obviously, this makes navigation more difficult.
To illustrate the matter clearly, I've included the DocBook 5 source as well as the PDF in question. If you look at the contents of the PDF (say, in less), a bookmark is generated for each DocBook part and article, including the one with the empty title. I think that poppler and the programs that use it should display the full bookmark tree, even if the title of one of the parts is empty. Please let me know if you need more information or if you need me to test something. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libpoppler13 depends on: ii libc6 2.13-18 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.4.6-2 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libjpeg62 6b1-2 Independent JPEG Group's JPEG runt ii liblcms1 1.19.dfsg-1 Little CMS color management librar ii libopenjpeg2 1.3+dfsg-4 JPEG 2000 image compression/decomp ii libpng12-0 1.2.46-3 PNG library - runtime ii libstdc++6 4.6.1-8 GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages libpoppler13 recommends: pn poppler-data <none> (no description available) libpoppler13 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- brian m. carlson / brian with sandals: Houston, Texas, US +1 832 623 2791 | http://www.crustytoothpaste.net/~bmc | My opinion only OpenPGP: RSA v4 4096b: 88AC E9B2 9196 305B A994 7552 F1BA 225C 0223 B187
