Hi Thomas, the patch is currently not applicable to the latest b43-fwcutter version (0.14-9) However, the modification can be easily porting to the latest version but unfortunately I can't test on my laptop because I haven't your card type.
I'm trying on my laptop with two 14e4: devices: :~# pci=`lspci -n | grep -o "14e4:[1234567890abcdef]\+"` :~# echo $pci 14e4:1692 14e4:4357 If I try to execute the postinst script manually, I get: $ ./firmware-b43legacy-installer.postinst No supported card found. Use b43 firmware. This is just for the b43legacy driver. Aborting. In my case, result as expected (because both cards are not supported by b43-legacy driver) Attached a modified version of firmware-b43legacy-installer.postinst script.
