Ok, fair enough.

Meanwhile,

 kvm -device \? 2>&1 | less

will show all available devices, with the "right" syntax.
As far as I can see, all these -usbdevice, -net, even -drive
are sort of deprecated nowadays, with the alternative being
longer, qdev'ish syntax - which is almost not documented,
but used in full by libvirt and other management solutions.

(btw, for -device usb-anything you'll have to add -usb first).
