Package: snmpd
Version: 5.4.3~dfsg-2.2
Severity: important

hi,

When I set -Lf/-LF X (or any combo like -LfX, -LFX, etc.; where X is a
value such as '5' or 'w', per snmpcmd(1) ) instead of logging at LOG_INFO
or LOG_WARNING it creates a socket file instead of logging at that level.

If this is a 'feature', then the manual should say so, otherwise it
should be classified as a bug, as it does unexpected (or undocumented)
behaviour.

thanks
