It should also be noted that xterm-color is derived from xterm-r6 which
is pretty obsolete.  Alastair, why don't you use xterm or
xterm-256color which do have the key entry?

The last I checked, vte's notion of k13-16, etc., (function-keys 1-4 with
shift/control modifiers) differs from xterm's.  infocmp "only" reports
55 differences for vte vs xterm-new, while it reports 87 differences
for vte vs xterm-color.  It's been roughly in that state for 8 years
(using "gnome" as the longer-lived entry).
