wput's autoconf test for gnutls-openssl is slightly broken, it runs "i486-linux-gnu-gcc -o conftest -Wall -g -O2 -Wall -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -g -lgnutls -lgcrypt -lgnutls-openssl conftest.c" to test for -lgnutls-openssl. i.e. if -lgcrypt is not present GnuTLS support is disabled. On building against GnuTLS 3.0.0 (available in experimental), which does not use gcrypt as crypto backend anymore (and does not depend on libgcrypt-dev) wput therefore loses its TLS support. cu andreas -- `What a good friend you are to him, Dr. Maturin.
