Package: polypaudio Version: 0.7+20050805-2 Severity: normal When ALSA software mixing through dmix is enabled and another ALSA application tries to access the sound devices while the polypaudio daemon is running, polypaudio terminates. The other application can play it's sounds, which is good, but GNOME looses sound.
