Building static versions of gdk-pixbuf is non-trivial since it requires linking a number of pixbuf loaders statically in the library. I’m not even sure upstream still supports it. If someone provides a tested patch that adds back the static version, I’m ready to include it, of course. Cheers, -- .''`.
