Does the guest remember what happened (e.g., in syslog or /var/log/kern.log*)? If not, maybe it is still possible to get the guest to log to the host during failure (see rsyslogd.conf(5), section "Remote machine"), or to increase the loglevel and read messages from the screen (by going to a non-graphical console and running something like echo 9 >/proc/sys/kernel/printk echo 50 >/proc/sys/kernel/printk_delay ). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
