I updated a few packages last night and this morning Icedove doesn't work anymore. The output I get running icedove from the command line is: paolo@saturn:~$ icedove /usr/share/themes/Shiki-Brave/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:126: Murrine configuration option "gradients" is no longer supported and will be ignored. (icedove-bin:5681): Bonobo-WARNING **: Bonobo must be initialized before use /usr/lib/icedove/icedove-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/icedove/components/libmailcomps.so: undefined symbol: NS_CStringContainerInit The difference with most reports is that Icedove has always been working fine. The solution suggested by Marco (LD_BIND_NOW=1 icedove) breaks Enigmail and possibly other plugins. Below is the list of packages in /var/cache/apt/archives which have been accessed yesterday (therefore probably installed/updated) so it could be one of them.
